Were you not permitted to speak or something? It’s kinda creepy. And you didn’t show the camera app. It’s supposed to be super fast, isn’t it?

I don’t think I’d buy this simply because for the price of a smartphone at full retail, there are others I am more interested in with way more developer involvement.

Yes, sorry, should’ve flagged that up. Nokia had a few different prototypes – some using mini SIMs and some using micro SIMs. The commercial N9 will use a micro SIM.

Although I wouldn’t go get it myself, I think this new N9 is quite cool. There are definitely enough features to sell to the non-tech savvy market, if their marketing is right. If I got this free, I wouldn’t mind. In fact, I might like it.

Wow. My mind is blown. Nokia just made it. This device is excellent.

We
all know that Nokia took a long while to release this thing, but I know
it’s for a good cause. Nokia takes its time to work out the kinks from
its phones before release, so that they can really put out a flawless
phone (objectively speaking).

Kudos Nokia.

The micro USB on the phone does not support MHL… Agreed, there should have been an HDMI port.

Still the 3.5 mm Audio Jack can output Video too, using suitable RCA cable.

-Clear Black is not the same as AMOLED. Clear Black is a second polarizing layer that makes the black blacker. It is a method to reduce reflections without the need to improve screen brightness.
The display here is most definitely an AMOLED display with Clear Black technology, just like the E7.

Otherwise, great first impressions. I already want one.
