Absolutely the worst mistake! Everyone is waiting to get their hands on the N9!! Nokia will take a major nose dive by not releasing this phone!

Indeed, the OMAP3 design has apparently been axed… only to be replaced by a newer, Cortex-A9 (dual core) based platform running… MeeGo!

What a shame, I was so looking forward to the release of this phone, it looked so promising, MeeGo is/was a great idea.

WTH are Nokia developing then?? A N8-with-keyboard took away all their development resources?
I understand that MeeGo is not ready – it hasn’t been a year in development and I think it’s reasonable for a mobile OS to take at least a year to be ready. But what about Symbian then? People have been begging for some simple and reasonable updates to the OS for 6 months now, and Nokia so far only managed to deliver minor bugfixes. Why are they firing people if they haven’t got enough workforce?

Let’s see what Elop reveals on Feb 11 (but I have a bad feeling…).
