According to Sprint, they will launch a Mobile WiMAX-enabled version of the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet in North America starting next year. This is will be one of the few UMPCs to feature support for the 4G network.

Nokia N800

We’ve already heard about Sprint’s efforts to deploy the largest 4G network in the US, so hopefully by the time they launch their version of the N800 there will be a large number of people able to take full advantage of it.

The device will also likely take advantage of other wireless standards like Bluetooth and WiFi, that is if the interference issues that they’ve encountered are solved.
