Nokia N8 due in UK last week of Sept for £429

Nokia has finally confirmed a UK launch date for their N8 Symbian^3 smartphone, with the touchscreen handset expected to arrive in the last week of September 2010.  That's assuming you order it through Nokia's online store, however - either at £429 ($659) SIM-free or free with a £35 ($54) agreement.

As of October 1st, meanwhile, the N8 will drop into Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, Phones4u, T-Mobile, Tesco Phone Shops, Three Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone (Vodafone have the exclusive on the green version).  You can preorder now at nokia.co.uk/N8 or alternatively wait for Nokia World 2010 next week to see what new goodness the company has in the pipeline.
