Right, I'm currently on a HTC glacier (mytouch 4g) and didn't get any gingerbread love. Although, google says I can update if I can find a T-mobile store that has a upgrade sd card. I pretty much called every store in the San Diego area with no luck. I'm looking forward to Nokia with wp7.5 as well but ita.s a deal breaker if it can't upgrade to wp8.

I'm not interestes in the 710, but my buddy that works at Nokia USA says watch for CES. There might be something more high end. If it's a high end phone but on crappy AT&T that would be a deal breaker as well.

Mich: I don´t like the "balkanization" of Android, with phones that suffer mostly late or non-existent updates at the whim of the manufacturer. And, as I live in a PC eco-environment, I have high hopes for a Windows Mobile phone, which would be my personal choice over an iPhone, which is more at ease in an Apple environment.

The big issue for me for these two Nokia phones is if they will be updatable to Windows Mobile 8, when it comes out in a few months time.

Who cares about Windows phones anyway. Why would Nokia tie themselves to a another MS mobile OS flop. It seems Nokia have used up their 9 lives and need something drastically different to survive much longer.
