The cause is very simple: Elop have transformed Nokia into a simple brand logo on a Qualcomm hardware running Microsoft software. Qualcomm and Microsoft will continues to add patents in there portfolio, but Nokia is left without any research activity and can’t add any patent. Shareholders have now only a empty bag.

Perhaps they should have centered around a class leading camera phone with Lumia Windows, Lumia Android as their strategy to maintain relevance and branding in a world dominated by Galaxy and iPhone?
