This month along with Nokia N91, Nokia E61: Blackberry Killer is also making its appearance. Nokia E61 (more affectionately called as ) “The Nokiaberry”    is first smartphone in competence with RIM’s BlackBerry line and the Motorola Q. This smartphone is 117 x 70 x 14 mm in dimension and weigh only 144 grams. It sports a QVGA screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and 16M colour depth adding more dimension to vision. It supports for basic email via POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP. With its broad range of connectivity, the Nokia E61 feature screen is fitted with tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz and WCDMA 2100 Mhz, supporting Wi-Fi 802.11b, Bluetooth 1.2 with support for up to 6 concurrent connections, Infrared and USB 2.0. A 75MB of internal memory is provided with miniSD card slot for expanding its non-volatile memory.E61 is all equipped with light sensors and not to forget, the QWERTY thumbboard. The estimated price for the device is $499.99.
