The niche product of all niche products. Why can’t we have some marketing of the far superior N9 phone which would actually sell in volume?

Yeah I remember Nokia “Engineers” excitedly telling about N97 keyboard hinge mechanism.Nobody ever explained why they forgot to put in more RAM or better processor than than a year old 5800XM. The 5800XM in turn was so pathetic that out of the box games already installed on phone were jerky enough to be called unplayable.

Shows how messed up Nokia is trumpeting a 5 year cycle to develop this – it is an incredible embarrassment by any measure and gives some insight as to why Nokia spends so much on R&D with nothing of economic value to show for it. What consumer tech can spend 5 years in a lab.
Since it is largely hardware, you can be sure that Samsung etc have reverse engineered it by the time they get it onto WP

We could have had more of this and with a faster processor both Meego and Symbain with refreshed Belle UI but NOOOOOOOO Elop the Trojan horse has to destroy Nokia so MS can buy it and use its patents to patent troll.
