It will be a grave mistake for Nokia not to promote n keep MeeGo alive….what if their stint with WP7 falls flat then they will double screwed. From what i have been reading a lot of ppl out there love what they see from MeeGo so far…Nokia should open their eyes n ears and deliver what ppl want.

The actual N9 is better than the POS with Mango.

That said, this is a real contradiction for Nokia. Usually they make somewhat attractive (if slightly bland) phones. This definitely isn’t a looker, doesn’t have the latest and greatest hardware, but is still a somewhat attractive option (especially with Belle considering most Nokias don’t even have Anna yet.) NFC is nice as well though considering the myriad of uses for it.

As for Android/WM7, had they gone with Android they would’ve been “just another” Android manuf. unless they kept Meego for their high end stuff (which it should be anyway.) Granted, you could make the argument that they are just MS’s lapdog now and are just another WP7 manuf.

Symbian could’ve had a chance and it’s a shame that Meego still does but they are looking to kill it anyway.

Wait until the N9 (Searay) with WP7 Mango comes out in a few months and we’ll see if you still maintain your opinion.

Yawn Zzzzz Oh, sorry, if these pics are genuine, then Nokia are in real trouble, I’ll be sticking with Android much more creative, I’m afraid Nokia died 5 years (at least) ago for me!
