Motorola has already the Ming (among others), which is a good linux based phone, with a touch screen interface. A Ming successor is coming soon.

Steve, yes, there will be three versions of the 5800: one with US-band 3G, one with Euro-band 3G, and one plain GSM without 3G.

Vincent, while I’d love to think Motorola couldn’t mess up, I’m not 100% confident…

I knew Nokia would come around sooner or later. This leaves RIM – the Storm is coming soon too. LG and Samsung have been pumping out all touch phones for sometime now, so the only phone manufacturer left is Motorola. Lets hope Moto’s first all touch handset will be powered by Android. With Android on board, Motorola surely can’t screw up too terribly right?
