No Nokia MeeGo device until 2011 confirms CEO

New Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has confirmed that the company's first MeeGo device will make its debut in 2011.  Speaking on the Nokia financial results call, Elop described the MeeGo smartphone as "a 2011 event."  Nokia had previously maintained that it would launch a MeeGo device by Christmas 2010, despite losing its division head to Palm.

As for the device itself, Nokia is yet to make any details public, but we've seen numerous leaks of a so-called Nokia N9 handset with a brushed silver aluminum chassis and full QWERTY keyboard.  It's tipped to have a 4-inch OLED display, 1GHz processor and 64GB of onboard storage.
