If you owned a digital camera- Digital SLR, P&S or cell phone with camera function, you probably have heard of or seen the feature SmileCheck, Face Detection, Blink Detection or the likes that suppose to assist you in getting a perfectly in focused and sharp images for every Kodak moment at hardware layer. But if you’ve done portrait of any girls, a tack sharp image may not always ends up they would have wanted. Too revealing of their facial imperfection, they would said. Well, solving these problems in post processing are in the past, Fotonation has came out with a hardware level FaceEnhance gimmick for the beauty queens.

Fotonation has announced a new FotoNation(R) FaceEnhance technology that will automatically diminish the appearance of wrinkles and other skin imperfections from human faces in an image. The feature can be applied upon an image is captured or manually while reviewing captures at your digitally capture devices, such as camera phones or any other digital still cameras, with a flip of a switch. Pixel peeper might want to turn that off while troubling shooting lenses for back or front focusing.

Say no more to soft filter. Amateur now can shoot like a pro, and working pro now can sneak in the basic soft focus beautification pricing to their wedding package without even loading up Photoshop.
