hi there yeah ps2 the no storage ps3 with fast read write speeds thats why ps2 out sold ps3 how many ps3 would have been sold if sony used intels 40 gb solid state flash drive there are probaly 2 gaming markets the solid state flash storage hard core gamers then the hard drive gamers why not build 2 different gaming consoles

The playstation 3 is the only console that supports blu ray, while the Xbox 360 doesn’t and is still the most popular console and instead has hd dvd, but I mean come on the wii can’t even play regular dvd’s. Nintendo has the best classic games i’ll give them that, and nintendo has been the king of gaming for a long time many years ago, but the 360 and Ps3 are just more advanced and have even beaten the wii at it’s own game by making the kinect and playstation move, which are better, but honestly I would rather play CoD with a basic controller and hd graphics rather than waving my arm back and forth while playing on a crappy screen against a bunch of little kids. Now if you want a computer, blu ray player, and some next generation miscellaneous features than buy a Ps3, if you want a cheap console for your 7 year old cousin than buy a wii, and if you want a real gaming console with superior online and the best library of retail games, where you can chat with your friends while doing pretty much anything than buy an Xbox 360 and get an online that does cost money, but doesn’t get hacked *cough cough* Ps3 *cough *cough*, but has an online that makes sense *cough cough* Wii *cough *cough*

These guys that say Wii isn’t for hardcore or “real” gamers are ridiculous. First, what do you consider hardcore or real gamers, Halo fanboys? Douchebags that play CoD 24/7? I’m not saying they aren’t fun games, but theres way more than that. And the Wii has some great games of it’s own, regardless of graphical quality. Yes I would love HD support, but it’s not necessary. Hell I can play my NES and have just as much if not more fun.

And realistically, yes 360 and PS3 have Kinect and Move, but I already have a Wii, I’m not gonna go fork over another wad of cash for those. I think a lot of people are with me these days when I say I’m not made of money.

I can’t tell you how many people I know that bought the wii for the concept , and all of them do not play it anymore because the concept doesn’t outway the power of the xbox or ps3. Basically the wii got boring . Just because they might of sold more doesn’t mean its the better console. Ps3 with the move is “alot lot lot” better then the wii. The wii2 is gonna have to pull a rabit out their a$$ if they wanna one up the new ps4 and new xbox.

i cant wait for this console. i think its going to make a great household gaming console with improve features for both adults and kids. unlike how un-family friendly the xbox and ps3 is only ideal for playing personally and with friends who have the same interest of games. the wii offers something different and im sure this new wii will also do the same.

Also, the 30,000,000 is just in the United States. If the US has a population of about 300,000,000, then that would mean that there would be one PS2 console for every two people.

It will not come out with a bluray player. That is a sony product and is sony technology and would be a huge risk to the playstation if they let the wii also become a blu ray player. The blu ray functionality is a huge advantage the playstation has over the 360 and the Wii

At the current rate of sales, assuming that the Wii is 5 years old and has only sold 30,000,000 we can calculate the general trend in sales over the next 6 years and add 30,000,000 to that then subtract that by the PS2s’ sales record and see who the winner is..

Well guys, every gaming console out is stupid. Not only of the cost, but when the next console comes out, the current console is outdated. Therefore a piece of shit..

I say stick with High Performance gaming PCs. They are easily upgradeable with up to 20 times more RAM HDD or SSD space than all gaming systems currently out. Plus if you really love your Console games rip them onto your PC and use emulation or join controllers via Bluetooth….
The GPUs available for Gaming PC systems are vastley Greater in Memory and bandwidth. With this in mind you can play a PC game on extreme resolutions such as 2560 x 1830 over Multiple screens. If you try to do that with the PS3 Or Xbox 360 Slims tiny GPUs (256 – 512 MB’s) the Graphics unit would DIE!!

out of all The Gaming concoles out there though i would have to give the advantage to PS3. Great console

i think it sounds great but they’d need to add heaps of ram aswell. Hopefully we’ll be seeing games like COD mw3 played on it exactly as if it was being played on an xbox 360 or ps3 rather than what we saw with black ops, the multiplayer was missing the highest killstreak due to ram shortages.

Rumours go that Wii 2 will have better graphics than PS3 & Xbox360. It’ll have a new controller with HD screen, support blu-ray and is backwards compatible with Wii games.

i do hope so hd will be great.
wii is a very VERY poor quality console (sure.. it can be fun with ur family all together but it really isnt for Real gamers but it is comparable 2 a ps2).
