Nintendo unveils games coming to 3DS and more

Nintendo decided to drop a "Nintendo Direct Micro" video today, and it mostly revolved around the surprise announcement of some new 3DS games slated for North America. The video was hosted by a micro version of Nintendo's Director of Product Marketing Bill Trinen, who introduced a handful of games like Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash! which is currently in development. The games will be dropping at different times in the coming months, with the first arriving in less than two weeks.

The new Chibi-Robo game will be coming to the 3DS in North America this upcoming October. There will also be a Chibi-Robo amiibo (of course). Before it comes, however, gamers will be able to get Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure on June 11, which is in less than two weeks. Pre-purchase is available now.

There's Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, which we've previously detailed — it arrives this winter some time. As far as new games go, there's Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, which has a self-explanatory title. It'll be coming to the 3DS, but there are no further details on it at this point.

There's a new weapon coming to Splatoon, meanwhile, the NZAP85 — a rapid-shooter that isn't too powerful but includes splat bombs and more. There's also a new map called Port Mackerel. They both launch today at 7PM PST/10PM EST. Ranked battles are also coming.
