Nintendo to release special white GameCube controller for the Wii

One of the biggest reasons people love the Wii is for the cool Wiimote. It makes games like Wii Sports that would otherwise be a bore exciting. However, there are games that cry out for a GameCube controller like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The only problem is that you can’t really find new GameCube controllers. Well, not yet at least.

Yes, you can buy used controllers on the cheap at your local GameStop or other used gaming store. Or if you’re like me, you already have a few lying around because you actually owned a GameCube. However, if you want one that matches, you’re in luck because Nintendo will be selling white GameCube controllers especially for the Wii.

We don’t have a lot of details just yet, however, we do know that it will be hitting Japan in the near future for around $20. No word on a US release.
