I dont have a Wii U (thank god). Im really shocked that peaple are mad at the purchase they made. Thats what you get for being soo gullable and standing in line to get one ….hahaha…be mad at yourself. Next time do some research before u jump off the cliff with everyone else. Is that hard to swallow ??? Too bad.

I’m sending my Wii U back to the seller.I hate kiddie type games.I want realistic battle games,and shoot um up games.Not aminie type chacheters.They should not have come out with this system until they had some games that Americans like.

I enjoyed the heck out of Kirby’s Epic Yarn… lots of Nintendo games get plenty of playtime, but on my PS3/360, it’s Skyrim, Oblivion, and Mass Effect. (And Burnout… that’s a fun series)…

I guess I’m not fazed by the “childishness” of their products. I like Mario… I would rather play a fun game on a mediocre powered console than a bad game on a technologically superior device.

To be fair, I still play Nethack. :) So I guess I’m not the target audience here.

I think Nintendo’s strategy is to make playing games on their platform a more immersive experience as opposed to other platforms which aim to compete on technical performance and features (though a bit of Nintendo philosophy seem to be creeping in with the Kinect and Move).
The problem is that their in-house games portrays an image of catering to a younger audience causing the older demographic to drift away to perceivably more mature platforms like the Xbox and PlayStation.
Nintendo ought to target their consoles at all levels of the populace and I think this is what they seem to be doing with the Wii U. Immersive experience with good game play and targeting all levels of the audience is a step in the right direction.

never been so unexcited about Nintendo. These folks continue to live in their fantasy world not realizing the game industry have evolved dramatically. Its not about just games anymore and the industry itself will soon become saturated and competition more fierce. Here they still live in their Zelda and Mario and their childish presentation. Its entertainment as a whole. Every individual, every form of entertainment , technology, must be considered for the console. No, they still continue to indulge in their childish ways.
