It&#039;s only going to split the market by allowing games to be developed with camera functionality... rendering such functions useless on previous DS platforms, and potentially gimping the game to a point where it&#039;s simply unplayable on previous DS hardware.

J.O.---&gt; I believe this is the reason for it being stated that it plays both DS and DSi software. It plays games with &quot;camera functionality&quot; and games &quot;without camera functionality&quot;. This is just how I read it. Good job pointing out that it doesn&#039;t play MP3s. 		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m confused. Lower battery life, no GBA cartridge slot, no memory/cpu upgrade, MP3 does NOT play MP3 (only AAC), and hefty price tag.  Attractive? I think NOT!
