The new coolpix P60 is the Nikon line of affordable P&S features automatic and manual controls for both newcomers and more experienced users. The 8.1 megapixels camera uses a 1/2.5” Type CCD sensor with ISO sensitivity ranges from 80 to 2000 and 2.5-inch LCD display. It also features 4x digital and 5x optical zoom range of 36mm-180mm (35mm equiv.) with Image sensor shift VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization.


Other advance features include Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and D-Lighting. The camera draws power from two AA batteries, supports SD/SDHC media storage and comes with a built-in 12mb memory card. The COOLPIX P60 will be available in March with the price of $230.
