The last of the new digital point and shoot cameras that Nikon has unveiled today is the Coolpix S32. This camera is designed to be easy to use and family friendly with the ability to survive splashes and drops. The S32 promises to be easy enough to use that anyone in the family can take their own photos.

The Nikon camera is waterproof to 33-feet. It is also able to survive drops from up to 5 feet. The rear LCD on the S32 is 2.7-inches and it has a graphic user interface making it usable by anyone. The rugged nature of the camera and its easy use means that parents can turn kids loose with the camera without worrying it will get broken.

The S32 has a resolution of 13.2MP and uses a CMOS sensor inside. It has 3x optical zoom and supports an in camera slide show to allow a group to view the photos taken with the camera.

The S32 also has Motion Detection to take a photo when it senses motion. Other features include a Smart Portrait System, Scene modes, and Effects. The S32 will ship in March with a MSRP of $129.99.
