Nexus S Android smartphone heads to AT&T

If you are on AT&T and you are a fan of Android smartphones. A new offering is headed your way. The Nexus S is finally coming to AT&T and you can pre-order it right now at Best Buy Mobile stores. It will hit the stores and online on July 24 and will sell for $99. The smartphone does require a 2-year contract. The specifications of the phone are just like those on other networks.

The phone has the Pure Google Experience. It also has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 480 x 800 resolution. The battery is a 1500mAh lithium-ion unit and has up to 6.5 hours of talk time. The phone can be on standby for up to 450 hours. The Nexus S is designed to handle your personal and business email. It will also support tethering.

Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, text-to-speech, a voice enabled keyboard, and NFC support. The Nexus s is 123.9 x 63 x 1.88mm and weighs 129 grams. It will operate on the AT&T 3G network. The OS onboard is Android 2.3. It has a front VGA resolution camera and a rear 5MP camera that can record video.
