Who remembers the old IBM keyboards? Those beasts were awesome! They had an awesome clicking sound, and the response from the keys was great. You definitely knew whether or not you pressed a key.

I wish my mouse had a foghorn sound when I click. Okay, maybe not.

I want to meet the people who found the tiny noise that a computer mouse makes when you click deafening. I am sure they are working on the silent keyboard. While they are at it, I am looking for silent Jet engines and silent jackhammers and silent leaf blowers. These are problems that need fixing.

I've always rather liked the clicking sound when I push a mouse button; lets me know I did something. Of course, maybe that makes me come off a bit like a bit like Andy Rooney talking about light switches or something. But I'm ok with that.
