New update enabled YouTube on LG’s BD300 Blu-ray player

The amateur, highly compressed Youtube videos on small screen is tolerable, anything bigger than 50-inch is completely useless, the expanded low quality picture surfers, more like pixilated boxes all over the screen. But they do have HD version now , and yesterday, LG has released software upgrade to enable Youtube streaming on their networked BD300 Blu-ray player.

Back in December, we got words on the LG Netflix-compliant Blu-ray players to be featured more online streaming contents, and as promised, LG delivered YouTube to its BD300 Blu-ray player with latest BD.8.16.537 software update. Owners of BD300 players have reported successful upgrades in community forum here.
