Every now and then I hear about an upcoming sequel that brings back fond memories of my youth. The latest such game announcement is about an upcoming Twisted Metal sequel. I spent countless hours driving around trying to blow up my brother. It has just been announced that Eat Sleep Play is working on a new Twisted Metal title.
The news was actually hidden deep in the Twisted Metal Head On: Extra Twisted Edition. David Jaffe was kind enough to to let gamers know that the message was somewhere in the game. When deciphered it read “METAL IS COMING ON PSTHREE”. I find this phrase to be quite interesting. First, we know that the game is going to be an exclusive PS3 title, however, I’m curious of his use of the term PSThree. Perhaps he knows something we don’t?
The gang over at Kotaku double-checked with Gaffe, who confirmed that he is indeed working on a Twisted Metal title for the PS3. He however declined to comment on whether it will be distributed via disc or download.

numbers corresponded to letters for the code. They spelled out three because the message would have been “METAL IS COMING TO THE PSC” If they didnt spell it out.
