New T-Mobile plan offers unlimited prepaid flexibility

T-Mobile already has the market cornered on low-cost, prepaid plans. They're also not content to simply be the leader — they seem to want total ownership of prepaid. A new plan, breaking all kinds of molds in offering up ten-cent minutes and texts, speaks to that.

The new Pay As You Go plan is as simple as can be. You get minutes and texts for $0.10 per minute or instance, with a plan minimum of $3/month. That minimum gives you 30 minutes of talk, 30 texts, or a combination of the two. There is nothing tricky about it, either.

As for data, T-Mobile simplified that one, too. You can now eat up data via a $5/day option, or $10 for a week-long pass. The daily pass brings you a 500MB limit, while the weekly payment option gives you 1GB. T-Mobile says both options operate on their 4G LTE network.

It's a great option for parents, and an even better option for those who just need a minimal plan with the freedom to choose more or less as they go. If you're interested in checking it out, T-Mobile says the plans start on the 17th of this month.
