it used to be that the quality of the product was warrent for sucess , now its , its mine and no-one else can play with it . grow up , industry standards have made many electronics user friendly and left beta max in the dust .

I feel sorry for iOS developers. Yet another screen resolution to support for apps.. Either there will be a new ‘class’ of apps minimally compatible with older apps or current iOS apps will get even larger to support yet another set of image resources. Unless they add scaling support to their graphics API this trend will continue with each new resolution they decide to use for iOS devices.

Cables that require chips at both ends will solve the long-standing problem of cables not being expensive enough. Thunderbolt has already shown us how much progress can be made in this area.
