Sadly the new version 1.0.0.1 firmware doesn’t offer up many, if any, visible changes. Among them, one of the editors at our sister site noted, was the addition of folders. Other upgrades aren’t as apparent.


Another major change within the firmware is a solution to the Safari browser hole that was recently discovered. Other than that there have been reports of hacks and 3rd party apps not working.

Maybe a more useful upgrade could be on the horizon, soon? Good luck with the upgrade process and continue enjoying your iPhone.
