Sheesh! Everyone speculates what Apple is about to do. Rumors abound for months before a new product release such that by the time the devise appears there’s bound to be a let down because it didn’t have every bell and whistle analysts dreamed up. Now…The device has been out a little while, so the analysts turn their surmising to what Apple coulda-woulda-shoulda done. Surely this was “Plan B” or maybe even “Formula 409″. Just Give-It-A-Break! Can’t we just simply enjoy the brilliance of the iPad without dissecting every aspect of its development ?

For my money they could have used a Samsung HD SuperAmoled Plus screen and had all the display “magic” they needed. And taken the rest of that battery power to give the thing more processing speed and power….and probably kept it the same weight. There is just not enough difference in Retina vs HD SuperAmoled Plus to justify the processor and battery consumption.

If sharp could have made this screen lighter, that woulda been a plus but the current retina is what every reviewer has said, amazing.

Good Grief, I’m glad I didn’t get the new iPad. I wouldn’t call it big, but I swore when it sat around the house…you know the rest.
