New iMac listing spotted in OS X beta

A refresh for the iMac lineup is expected soon, and could be announced as soon as Apple's WWDC next week. The company may have tipped their hat a touch early, though, as three new iMacs were spotted in an OS X Mavericks beta version. References to the three devices were listed, and the beta has since been yanked from circulation.

Of note is the coding Apple used in referencing the device(s). Both iMac15,1 and iMac15,n are noted, with the iMac15,n having two listings. The iMac15,1 has an (IGPU only) listing, while the iMac15,n both note Apple displays in tow.

The 15,1 and 15,n have never been listed before, suggesting entirely new iMacs are incoming. The 21.7-inch and 27-inch iMacs are listed as 14,1 and 14,2, respectively. Unfortunately, the listing offered up no details on just what was in store.

The listing has since been pulled, suggesting Apple seeded the info a bit early. We're not clear if Apple is refreshing their current screen sizes, but it seems they're comfortable enough giving whatever is incoming an entirely new listing. We'll be paying strict attention to the iMac news at next week's WWDC, should there be any. Check back starting June 2 for all your WWDC news!
