Wow, I was set to buy one this week! Really glad I noticed this before I did! First thing I was planning was to swap out the stock drive for a SSD. Now, im going to give up and go back to Win machines, though I’ll run OSX on them. One thing if Mac parts were competitively priced, but they are comically overpriced and I for one have had enough. I love their innovation but I’m sick of their greed.

I understand that some computer illiterate people enjoy opening a box and putting a PC on a desk and having it “just work”.

But there cant be that many people savvy enough to want to upgrade their own HDD that would be buying Macs…really? Is there?

If so. WoW. Guess vista set windows back even further than I imagined.

Sounds like the old Dell-brand power supplies with ATX connectors but with a different pinout. I’m already switching to Android because of Apple and ATT shenanigans. Don’t make me switch to Windows too.

Of course it’s a way to force people to buy their stuff. Apples whole marketing methodology is based on this idea -.-
