If you don't appreciate detail and quality workmanship, then stick with windows and android. I found this article really interesting, because their new corporate headquarters building is going to have the largest glass panes in the world, a manufacturing technique they learned from building their retail stores. It's amazing how they develop new technology and connect it and incorporate it into other areas. They don't go, oh well no one will really notice. The world is already too full of blasé people and their "good enough" creations.

But visually, there's really not a discernible difference between the 90 sheets and 15 for the average consumer. It's still a glass cube. So let's not over-analyze what this represents.

Apple is on the forefront of retail architecture. How dare we be interested. Instead of opening up drab looking stores in whatever already-built retail space they can lease (like say, every other retailer I can think of), they spend crazy amounts of money making interesting buildings.

I agree though, I think it's disgusting to be interested in architecture. Apple is clearly overspending on having cool-looking stores purely to improve their brand as a company who makes cool-looking things.

And looking at their cool-looking stuff is the most obvious trait of a fanboy.

Yep, still a glass cube. Now when they create an enclosure without glass or walls then its news. Until then I think they can keep it to themselves. On a side note, I just blinked.

Hold the phone I think I heard Microsoft created a cube with 5 sheets of wood. Not sure the size but it only used 5 pieces to create it. Where's that story? Haha. just messing with you avid lovers of Apples every move.
