Vincent here at SlashGear was able to get his hands on one of Apple’s new wired keyboards from an Apple store in Chandler, AZ. He has done and unboxing for us, the video is below.

The keyboard is only available at a few Apple stores right now, I would assume the others will get stock soon though. It costs $49 and is available online now and in some Apple Stores too.

The new keyboard is first thinner, and then better looking due to its brushed aluminum surface. For some though the distinct difference in tactile feedback is enough to sway someone away from the new keyboard, the new keyboard feels more like a laptop keyboard than an M-Type IBM keyboard.
