Netoy WiFi robot flails the news

Nazbatag is a rabbit, Aibo was a dog... but what the chick-pea salad is Netoy meant to be?  Looking like a swollen thumb emerging from a teracotta plant pot, the vaguely creepy little robot head promises to read you your news and weather reports, entertain you by performing the latest e-books and wake you up in the morning then make sure you get wherever you need to be in the day thanks to some sort of scheduling capacity.  802.11g WiFi keep the little munchkin connected, and his 1.5-inch colour display can show service data such as signal strength and mp3 track information.

In-built motors, sensors and a microphone allow him to flail his arms around and respond to both eight points of touch and also sound.  Stereo speakers rock the house with 2W of sound, although you're likely to be storing any music remotely since Netoy only has 64mb each of RAM and flash memory.
