Netflix and other use huge content delivery networks that essentially stage content at many different locations all over the world.  This costs Netflix a lot of money.
That&#039;s means its not &quot;peak internet bandwidth&quot; which is a silly term to begin with.  It&#039;s actually local traffic not the internet backbones.  Not most of the time anyway.
People pay a lot for those services but of course its never enough for the cable and DSL providers.  So every now and then they pay a company to push their propaganda and page view linkbait sites like Slashgear dutifully publish it.
Do a little research for once instead of cutting and pasting this gibberish.]]></description>
