Yeah I’ve been using it for a month on the ps3 and never needed a disc (canada user), just downloaded the app through the built in store….

oh well, the other features sound great.

I am still on my free trial, and I happen to like the fact I need to put a disc in…makes me feel more cool, but I suppose this update is going to be decent. The bight side is, you will kill your driven having a disc in it for all the hours you are watching movies.

I would really love to see GoogleTV integrated to the PS3 as well. I am slowly migrating away from the Xbox 360, and GoogleTV would definately cut the cord for me.

By the way: When I say “This is excellent because I literally received my PS3 Netflix disc yesterday”, I am joking. It’s horrible because I could have held out five more days.

This is excellent because I literally received my PS3 Netflix disc yesterday. As such this article says that the new update will allow setting up your queue from the PS3 rather than having to do it on your PC first….I can already do this. It’s the far left “tab” called Search. I just type in what I want and play it right then. If it’s a TV series I can even select which episode..it’s all pretty sweet. Anyways, any clarification then on what (if anything) is changing with that?
