Using a disc instead of an actual app was a legal workaround because of the verbiage in the contract.

What’s this “disc” about? I’ve been streaming Netflix for a while now on my Sony BluRay player, computers, and now Apple TV. I’ve not heard of this strange mode of operation. Must be a design fault from the beginning.
