HBO Go sucks anyway. Constant skips/pauses on a PC or Mobile Device. The app constantly reverts to Audio only on mobile devices.Its a shame because it is great content but poorly delivered. I run Netflix on the same devices (PC, Laptop, Galaxy Nexus, Nook tablet etc) and have never even had so much as a hickup in the feed. HBO Go has had issues on each and every device Ive attempted to run it on. I limit using it to PC only as even though it freezes or skips I can at least finish the episode without it reverting to Audio only like it does on mobile devices.*Note I am running this on the top of the line Time Warner Cable Internet service “Signature Home” that includes ultra fast speeds. I also run this on the Verizon 4G network. HBO Go has issues regardless of where it runs. Netflix is seemless ANYWHERE.I really wish they would fix the app/service… i tend to think it is more to do with their servers etc rather than the app itself.

I will not get cable, it’s just too big a ripoff, I have Netflix though and I’m pretty close to subscribing to Amazon Instant Video because they have a lot of content that Netflix doesn’t. I would definitely subscribe to HBO Go if I could get it without cable.

HBOGo would make a ton of money if they offered a separate streaming service not tethered to having the cable channel. But that’ll never happen.
