Isn’t that life in general? All we really need is food and water. Okay, I know that’s drastic, but let’s recap. Technically, you could have read this article on a computer dating back from the early 1990′s, but chances are you probably are not. Your probably reading this on an iPad, or at least a computer made with the last couple of years. I get it, they are drastic examples, but you get the point.

why complicate something as simple as a thermostat ?? its a temperature operated switch wtf does it need firmware and a pcb for???? i really think this sort of stuff is for idiots with too much cash and time on their hands.

Typical thermostats are useless! So much power is wasted. I live in an apartment so I cant change mine but im stuck paying the bill.. Govt should order builders to use energy efficient thermostats. (inb4 big govt freaks, you only care when issue involves big corps and not big security.)
Of course honeywell is sueing them.:/
Note to nest: integrated programmable timer working in conjuction is ALSO needed. (maybe you already have it)
