This Nerf gun costs $40 and has got to be the first fully automatic Nerf gun. If its not, its certainly the coolest, other than the fact it takes 6 D batteries to run it.

Although it is belt fed, and comes with a belt of 25 darts to feed through it allowing for some serious rapid fire action. It comes with a tripod for steadying your aim (more like for helping you steady those 6 D batteries) and it also comes with the Mission Kit Tactical Light.

The light can be mounted on the Tactical Rail System that is built into the gun, or you can purchase separately the night vision tactical light. The darts that come paired with the gun are the sonic micro darts, which means they whistle as they go through the air. Do I want one? Hell yes, and I’ll have one if I ever see it in stores.

Not the first fully auto Nerf gun, there’s also:

    Magstrike
    Wildfire
    RapidFire20
    PowerClip

…. but this is the first to hold 25 darts, the first auto belt-fed, and also FRICKIN’ SWEET.

I wonder if I can change it to run off my 18v drill battery rather than a paltry 9v pack of D’s…

no, it is the first FULLY automatic nerf gun out there
the difference between the vulcan and the guns you mentioned is that the vulcan doesnt need pumping
the ones you mentioned are not fully automatic cuz they need pumping

    The only questions:

CAN we find a way to rig multiple belts together? Say 10 belts? 250 nerf rounds would rock the house.

COULD we safely remove all the exterior junk, and say… I dunno… paint it with flat black, and metalic paints?

WILL small house pets shake in the sound of screaming nerf rounds, dare I say… perhaps. Depending upon who piddles on the carpet.

Those require pumping, so they’re not fully auto. All this bad boy needs is a pull of the trigger.

I cant wait for extra attatchments. and its pretty sweet that you can go single fire sniper style too. If it slike previous nerf guns it might b pretty hard to repaint. stuff tends to be plastic welded together.

Quick word about the gun…let me paint the picture for you…Christmas morning, have the Vulcan powered up and assembled under the tree. My boy woke up to see what Santa brought. His eyes lit up when he saw the Vulcan which was quickly followed up with HUGE disappointment when the gun would not feed properly. Assuming I assembled it wrong somehow, I poured over the directions. Everything was done right. In checking into it, I discovered many people on the net were having the same problem. Apparantly it is a crap shoot if you get one that works. I love the concept, but seems to be a dud! My 2 cents…

hey guys, i bought a vulcan the day after Christmas with my money i got, and i gotte tell ya, it was hectic at target. [quote comment="46814"]SUCKS BOUGHT MINE AT WALMART YESTERDAY AND IT BROKE IM EITHER QUITTING NERF OR STOP SHOPPING AT WALMART. SCREW WALMART!!!!!!!!!

i bought a vulcan at target the day after Christmas and, it was hectic. the day after i bought it, it broke too. the problem was that the cocking mechanism would not load the gun because it wouldnt go back all the way. my dad and i took it apart, looked inside, and we fixed the problem, but i forgot how. there was another problem though. the spinning part that turns the belt when you cock the gun wouldnt turn. we took out the thing that goes back when you cock the gun that turns the white piston that turns the feeder and fixed it by making sure the flipping thing would flip and go back to where it was first and did not stick in where it flipped. when it started working, we put it back together again. the gun works now, so even though a vulcan may break, making it impossible to cock the gun, it can be fixed, so i just wanted to tell you guys that, so maybe there is a way to find out how to fix it somewhere or something, but my dad knows a lot about stuff like that, so he was able to fix it. maybe contacting a Nerf employee would help? sorry about the long message, i just want to let you guys know it is possible to fix the gun.
