American Politicians have are so focused on looking like thrifty spenders of American tax payers money that they have forgotten to realize this countries infra structure roads bridges ect and NASA
need money to keep America sound. advancements in space tech and their spinoff use in the private sector have been huge. now we look like a weak space tech country that has to use OLd mercury seven type space capsules to go back into space INSTEAD of space gliders like the space shuttle.
if a rouge meteor that can kill us all is spotted we do not the means to blow it out of the sky to save our
asses. American People get realistic and do not be cheap skates make sure American space tech
is good because something from outer space could take us all out just like the dinosoars were taken out.

I just got a $829,99 iPad2 for only $103,37 and my mom got a $1499,99 HDTV for only $251,92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37" (HDTV) to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78,24 for. I use BidsOut. c Óm

There some of us inside the gate who agree with him. this whole gamechanging technology to nowhere, heavy rocket with no mission and now tying MPCV's ultimate success or failure to SLS (isn't that how Orion went down with Ares last night) is frustrating and disheartening. can we build and manage a large scale program like SLS these days recent history with Constellation and Jame Webb would say not probably not. throw in the Congressional meddling, White house platitudes and budget woes and we may have seen our last NASA human spaceflight launch ever.
