Short throw projectors are great little devices. They let you get a much larger image in a room that lacks the size for traditional projectors. The short throw lenses also allow the projectors to be placed in front of the audience.
Being in front of the audience means that the presenter doesn't have bright light in their eyes and people can get up without blocking the image. Both of these new NEC projectors have very similar features. Both have ECO mode stretching lamp life to 5,000 hours. ECO mode also reduces power and notice as well.
The projectors have a virtual remote control, closed captioning support, auto power on, remote diagnostics and autosense for easy connection to a PC. The projectors offer VGA and DVI connectivity along with a built-in RJ45 connection.
