NEC moved into unchartered waters today by debuting their very first display capable of supporting DisplayPort. This new model is called the MultiSync EA231WMi and it measures in at 23-inches.
This new display features VGA and DVI along with the DisplayPort, to make for the greatest level of functionality. Also included is a multi-directional pad and an ambient light sensor.
With a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, built-in stereo speakers, a 3,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and IPS, this display offers good color quality and features. It also has a four-port USB hub and the ability to rotate into portrait mode. You can get the NEC MultiSync EA231WMi starting later this month for $379.
