NEC has debuted a cool new bar-type display aimed at digital signage and other uses where a normal style display won’t work due to space constraints. The new display is called the X431BT and has a resolution of 1920 x 480. The screen also sports a contrast ratio of 3000:1.
The typical brightness of the screen is 500cd/m2 and the power consumption is 105W typically with under 1W in standby. The screen can be used in video walls of up to 10 x 10 in size.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI-D inputs. The screen also sports expansion slots for both NEC and third party components. The X431BT screen has a street price of $3799.
