I bought my first Neato over a year ago; I have returned more than 12 of them. I had to put Velcro loops tape to keep the Neato from scuffing the legs and lower parts of my furniture. Maybe If the bumper was wider than the main body, the Neato it would not hang up on corners of furniture and base board! Maybe someday your engineers will develop a true all floor vacuum cleaner. The newer XV-12 will not go from a hardwood floor to a ¼” thick throw rugs the older ones would go from a hardwood floor to a ¼” thick throw rugs with no problem. The older ones would clean my 1455 Sq foot home in 45 to 60 minutes. The newer ones and the one I bought two weeks ago takes up to 3.5 hours to clean the same home.
