Disappointing but I agree it was the correct decision. I was watching it on my iPad on my way to work, would have been nice to see it live, JAmes is this your first launch? I have always wanted to go and actually be there to see one, hopefully one day.

I was there to see it. Must admit that I was really disappointed that the launch did not occur, but under the circumstances the controllers took the correct course of action.

I just wish we as a nation were not so foolhardy in canceling the shuttle program and ORION. After Atlantis flies, the USA will effectively have no manned space program… UNACCEPTABLE…. dammit.

Yeah, Glad I have a smart phone. As soon as I made it up there I checked FaceBook because it was very windy and thought that may cancel the launch. NASA says: The next launch attempt for Endeavour is no earlier than Monday at 2:33 p.m. EDT, depending on the results of Saturday’s analysis.
