There is no doubt that things have gone backwards and I don’t just mean our freedom or back to being brainwashed peasants, even technology. This thing is just a 1960‘s tin can that flops into the ocean by parachute. Also you can’t cross the Atlantic at supersonic speed anymore, no Concord, back to the 60’s again. And we can’t drive our cars as fast as our grandfather did at 100mph+ or they will throw you in jail. Even when they tried to retrace the Titanic voyage recently the ship had to leave 3 days earlier because it was slower than the Titanic and that was a steam ship for god sake. At this rate we will all be back on a donkey again soon. I’m going to call mine Hecter.

Only thing is that that’s their first practice docking ever in the country’s history. We were doing that in the 1960s.

I would love to see a commercial company beat the crap out of that deadline and put a manned mission into space much sooner for less money. It seems to me we should be beyond a four seater by now. Our current technology is so much greater that our national commitment to space exploration.

I agree SpaceX will have men on Mars before this thing has its first maned mission. Yet we spend more on the bank bailout than the entire funding of NASA since its birth

The Chinese already have a manned capsule and just got done practicing docking. So at this point I guess we are behind both China and Russia.
