NASA astronaut claims first International Space Station Foursquare check-in

Prepare to see Foursquare pick up in popularity again, as a new wave of users attempt to jump high enough into space to steal NASA astronaut and Expedition 25 commander Douglas H. Wheelock's "NASA Explorer" badge.  The spacefarer docked at the International Space Station and promptly checked-in to Foursquare, becoming the first to claim the new badge.

Foursquare has put up a special NASA page, and of course there's plenty more information on Expedition 25 at NASA's own site.  This is actually Wheelock's second trip to the ISS – he was last there as flight engineer of Expedition 24 – but the first time he's checked-in.  Perhaps he'd forgotten to charge his phone.
