To HTC’s best knowledge, FM Radio is physical and there’s no separate app for it. Instead it’s integrated into the media player app. Hope this helps in your buying decision.

Just heard back from HTC:

“The one thing I can tell you right now is that the display is glass (curved glass at that), but I need to look into whether it is “Gorilla Glass” or some other variety of glass. I am not sure on the FM radio, but will check.”

Display appears to be glass (not sure if it’s gorilla glass), I don’t see the FM Radio app, but will inquire T-Mobile for you.

Very excited about this phone. I’ve heard conflicting reports on the front faceplate –is it plastic or is it the so-called “gorilla glass?” Also unsure of the FM radio capability. Is it hardware based or software-based? Does it need the wi-fi and/or 3g/4g for it to function?

the white is a happy medium gloss – not uber glossy or dull/soft but just right.

all other colors seems like soft-touch, which I love, but is the white version glossy? it seems more reflective. don’t know which color to choose!

It looks a lot nicer in that picture as opposed to the previous ones. I’ve also been told by a few people who have played with it that it actually feels pretty solid.
