Jan 12, 2010

There has been a lot of news over the last week or so about a flaw in supposedly encrypted flash drives and storage devices that would allow a nefarious user to bypass the security of a drive. This has left some people that are security conscious looking for a new flash drive and MXI Security has a new one that may do the trick.

The new flash drive is called the Stealth MXP Bio encrypted flash drive. The drive provides the strongest user authentication tech in the industry with 1, 2 or 3 factor authentication for high security levels. All of the security features including encryption are performed at the hardware level.

The drive offers digital identity and PKI Token services including RSA SecurID and OATH OTP onboard key generation. The encryption is AES-256 CBC hardware of all onboard data. The drive is also waterproof and dustproof.
