Those advertisements have to work to keep people tuned in while the regular program takes a short break. They need to keep your butt on the couch. At CES, that point is moot. I’m there to see the advertisements. They don’t need to convince me to get my foot in the door, I’m willing to fly to Vegas, book a hotel, and show up every day for 4 days straight.

So. . . Consumer Technology Companies think smiling scanty clad lovely girls will be more attractive than fat unsmiling geeks in T-shirts with logos on them. How sad and deluded these people are – that never works – right?

Nothing wrong with booth babes or booth cake… the objectification, if it happens, is done by the viewer and not by the babe or the cake. Surely everyone can reason that out…

I agree. First Mat bitched about the invite with a girl on it and then the “booth babes” what I guess he is just trying to earn points from a jealous wife.

Besides been sexy is not a crime and when will some people learn that their “morals” are not everyones “morals”
