MSI Wind rebadged as Advent 4211 and on sale in UK now

Hang on, so US customers will be waiting a whole 3-5 weeks to get their hands on MSI's Wind budget ultraportable, courtesy of Amazon, while in the UK a rebadged version of the notebook is available today?  Somewhat conclusive proof that MSI really need to re-examine their supply-chain, UK retailer PC World is shipping its version of the Wind – called the Advent 4211 – already.

The specs of the two machines are, unsurprisingly, identical.  Both have the 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 80GB hard-drive and run Windows XP Home.  PC World are asking £279.99 ($556) for the 4211.

MSI have previously blamed industry-wide battery shortages for the delay in shipping the Wind to pre-order customers.  It's uncertain whether the battery pack in the 4211 is sourced differently.
